Germany - 5.3% higher pay for metal trade - March 31, 2023

The more than 5,100 employees in the Saarland metal trade will get a pay increase. The trade union IG Metall and the employers’ association Landesinnung Metall Saarland have agreed that wages and salaries will increase by 5.3% from 1 April 2023. Depending on the year of training, the training allowances will increase by between € 30 and € 60. The collective agreement runs until 31 March 2024.
