According to Statistics Estonia, in 2022, the average monthly gross wages and salaries in companies, institutions, and organisations were € 1,685, which is 8.9% more than in 2021. However, the average real wages decreased by 8.8% to € 1,358 last year. Average monthly wages and salaries increased the most in accommodation and food services (15.6%) and manufacturing (13.2%). Wage growth was weaker in human health and social work (4.4%) and other service activities (1.2%).
