The average monthly net earnings per person in paid employment for February 2023 amounted to € 1,106, which is a nominal increase of 1.1% and a real increase of 0.9% as compared to January 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person for February 2023 amounted to € 1,522, which is a nominal increase of 1.5% and a real increase of 1.3% as compared to January 2023. The average monthly net earnings per hour for February 2023 were set at € 6.81, which is 10.9% higher than in January 2023, and 11.8% higher compared to the same month of the previous year. The average monthly gross earnings per hour for February 2023 were set at € 9.37, which is 11.4% higher than in January 2023, and 13.4% higher compared to the same month of the previous year.
