The average monthly paid net earnings per person in paid employment for September 2023 was € 1,156, which represented a nominal decrease of 0.6% and a real decrease of 1.1% compared to August 2023. The average monthly gross earnings per person in paid employment for September 2023 was € 1,596 which represented a nominal decrease of 1.1% and a real decrease of 1.6% compared to August 2023. The highest average monthly paid net earnings were paid in ‘air transport’ (€1,857); the lowest earnings were paid in ‘manufacture of wearing apparel’ (€ 754).
