Bulgaria - Increasing employment rate - April 30, 2023

According to Eurostat, a total of 75.7 % of the 20-64 age group were employed in 2022. This is the highest percentage since the start of the time series in 2009. In 2009, the employment rate was 68.2%, and it has been steadily increasing since then, though there were slight dips in 2020 and 2021, the first two years of the Covid-19 pandemic.
