Compared to the previous quarter, average monthly wages and salaries increased by 7.8% in the fourth quarter of 2022 reaching 1,879 BGN (€960). The highest increase was reported in ‘Education’ (19.7%), ‘Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply’ (14.9%), in ‘Financial and insurance activities’ (12.6%) and in ‘Human health and social work activities’ (11.0%).
