Sweden - Construction workers lack collective agreement - February 28, 2022

Workers on the construction of the Karlgardsbron bridge in Skelleftea, the longest wooden bridge in Sweden, do not have a collective agreement. This is criticized by both the trade union Byggnads and the employers' organization Byggforetagen. The main contractor and a number of its subcontractors who are building the new bridge for Skelleftea municipality do not have a collective agreement.
