Slovenia - 36% pay rise in trading companies - November 30, 2022

After several months of negotiations, the Trade Workers’ Union of Slovenia (SDTS) reached an agreement with representatives of trading companies regarding the demands for higher wages and better working conditions. On 1 January 2023, the minimum basic salary will rise by 36% to € 950 gross. All wages from the 1st to the 5th wage bracket will rise by the same amount, i.e. by 36%. Salaries from the 5th to the 7th wage bracket will rise by 25%. In February 2023, SDTS will start renegotiating a new collective agreement.
