Ireland - Bonus for recruiting female apprentices - April 30, 2022

To rebalance the 41 predominately male-oriented apprenticeship programmes, the government has announced the payment of a bursary worth €2,666, backdated to 1 January, to employers who recruit girls to work on apprenticeship programmes. The mechanism also applies to the country’s one and only predominately female apprenticeship scheme.
