Employees in the North Rhine-Westphalian hotel and restaurant industry received a significant wage increase of 17%. In the coming year, wages will then rise again by 3.5%, trade union NGG and the Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) agreed. The negotiations have been going on since November and have proved extremely difficult against the background of the coronavirus pandemic.
