Germany - 5% more pay at private banks - April 30, 2022

ver.di and the Employers’ Association of the Private Banking Industry (AGV) have reached a collective agreement after more than nine months of negotiations. The salaries of the approximately 140,000 employees in the private banking industry are to be increased by 3% on 1 August 2022, and by a further 2% on 1 August 2023. In May 2022 and January 2023 there will also be one-off payments of €500 each. The remuneration for apprentices will be significantly increased. Depending on the year of training, this will increase by €115 -€140. Apprentices also receive a one-off payment of €100. The collective agreement runs until May 31, 2024.
