Estonia - Unions ask for tripartite talks on pension reform - January 31, 2022

Estonian trade unions are opposing the proposed abolition of preferential pensions. The unions sent a letter to the Minister of Social Security, demanding the start of tripartite negotiations between trade unions, employers and the government in order to reach an agreement that takes into account all the social partners. According to the trade unions, one of the main issues is the development of a support system for accidents at work and occupational diseases.
