The government presented its legislative program for the new parliamentary year which includes the draft transposition into national law of the European directive on transparent and predictable working conditions. Among the texts that will be discussed during the new parliamentary session is furthermore an amendment to the law on equal treatment, which will clarify the legislative framework relating to sexual harassment at work and grant higher compensation to victims, be they employees or apprentices. Another bill will set out the requirements for employers who provide employees accommodation, including foreign workers.
