In the first six months of 2022, net earnings were 6.8% higher in nominal terms than in the same period of 2021. In June 2022, the average monthly net earnings per person in paid employment amounted to 7,711 kuna (€1,026), which represented a nominal increase of 0.3% and a real decrease of 0.8% as compared to May 2022. The average monthly gross earnings per person amounted to 10,492 kuna (€1,397), which represented a nominal increase of 0.5% and a real decrease of 0.6% as compared to May 2022.
