Austria - New collective agreement for cable car operators - March 31, 2022

Cable car operators will receive 4.5% more wages from May 1, 2022. Despite COVID-19-related operating and travel restrictions in tourism, the collective bargaining negotiations were successfully concluded. With an average inflation of 3.5% over the last 12 months the unions have achieved a significant increase in real wages. The income of apprentices increases by 25.3% in the first year of apprenticeship, by 21.9% in the second and by 19.4% in the third.
