Austria - Collective agreement in milling industry - August 31, 2022

On 16 August 2022, the employers’ association of the milling industry (Verband der Muhlenindustrie) and the trade union GPA successfully concluded their negotiations on a new collective agreement for the milling industry. The minimum salaries will be increased by 5.5% and rounded up to the nearest whole euro. In addition, a tax-free cost-of-living bonus of €350 will be paid out. This more than compensates the average inflation of 5.25%.
