United Kingdom - Temporary jobs for workers surge - January 31, 2021

Demand for staff picked up in December for the first time in three months, new research by recruiters suggests. According to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the spike was mostly due to temporary vacancies., with firms looking to take on more temporary staff due to uncertainty over the COVID-19 crisis and Brexit.
