Turkey - Employment rises - May 31, 2021

The unemployment rate was 13.1% in March, down by 0.1 percentage point month-on-month, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced. The number of unemployed aged 15 and over increased by 59,000 to 4.2 million in March, while the employment rate increased to 44.3% (+0.8 percentage points) as the number of employed people rose by 550,000 to 28.9 million.
