Spain - Collective agreement for telecomunications company - June 30, 2021

Telefonica and the CCOO and UGT trade unions have reached an agreement to extend the collective agreement covering the 18,400 employees of the company’s major subsidiaries (Telefonica de Espana, Moviles, and Soluciones de informatica) until 2022. They have agreed new arrangements for voluntary flexible work organization with the implementation of a hybrid activity that blends face-to-face and remote working, as well as providing for a pilot program that will trial a four-day working week starting in autumn 2021. The agreement includes a 1% wage increase and a bonus of €300 to be paid in October 2022.
