CP train ticket office workers and inspectors took part in a national three day strike in protest against proposed career regulations, while also in demand of salary increases. In a statement, the Itinerant Trade Review Railway Union (SFRCI) points to the national strike as the “last form of struggle” in the face of the “refusal of dialogue and the ineffectiveness, for several months, in the resolution of workers’ problems by the Council of Administration of CP”.
