Luxembourg - Study on wage determinants - January 31, 2021

Statec has published a study on the main determinants of wages in Luxembourg. Broadly speaking, the finding is as follows: the effect of a higher education degree on the salary level is on average a 24% increase, 30% for a supervisory position, and 23% on a permanent contract. Wages increase on average by 50% with age - if the entire career is spent with the same employer, they even increase by 80%.
