Greece - General strike against new labour law - June 30, 2021

The General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) and the Civil Servants’ Confederation (ADEDY) called a strike due to the strong disagreement with the controversial provisions of the new labour bill, which would deal a huge blow to the labour market, collective bargaining and society, the GSEE said in a statement. The unions fear the changes will undermine worker rights.
