Greece - Civil servants’ union calls for strike - April 30, 2021

The Civil Servants Confederation (ADEDY) has declared a nationwide 24-hour strike for the celebration of Labour Day on Thursday, May 6. According to an ADEDY announcement, this year’s celebration comes at an exceptionally critical juncture for the country’s workers as the government is attempting to abolish fundamental labour rights and trade union freedoms.
