France - Teachers strike over pay and working conditions - January 31, 2021

Several teaching unions are staging a one-day strike demanding better working conditions and higher salaries. Six unions have declared that they will join the national protest action: FSU, FO, SNCL, Sud Solidaires, CGT Education and Snalc, which together represent around three quarters of the country’s teachers. They will be demanding better working conditions and higher salaries, and protesting over the government’s education budget for 2021.
