The government put forward the idea of granting an exceptional bonus of up to €500 to employees in companies that played an important role during the health crisis. The government is therefore stepping in with discussions between the social partners over a national inter-professional agreement. After several weeks of negotiations, trade unions and employers continue to defend opposing positions on inter-professional wage increases.
