Turkey - Employment protection extended - November 30, 2020

The Government has extended various measures to protect employment in the context of the COVID-19 crisis by two months. The periods stipulated for the termination ban for employers, employers’ right to send their employees on unpaid leave unilaterally and the duration of short-time work allowance were extended. These measures are part of the package of measures implemented to mitigate the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.
