Spain - Young people hit by the crisis - May 31, 2020

Half of all job losses since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak have happened to adults under the age of 35, who experts say will face the brunt of the economic fallout from the pandemic. This generation, which represents 14.2% of the population according to Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE), is facing its second global economic crisis in only 12 years since the economic downturn of 2008.
