Netherlands - Workers have more to spend - February 29, 2020

According to Statistics Netherlands, wages in the private sector increased by 3.4% in January 2020, the biggest increase in a decade. At the same time, price increases slowed down, meaning that, on balance, workers had more money to spend. By comparison, wages in the private sector only increased by 2.4% over the whole of 2019.
