Luxembourg - Unions defend tripartite model - May 31, 2020

The government did not consult trade unions when drafting the so-called ‘pandemic law’. Therefore, the unions jointly sent a letter to the prime minister. The trade unions argue that the only effective way to face a crisis like the COVID-19 outbreak is through dialogue between government, trade unions and employers. The letter prompted the government to schedule meetings with trade unions and employers.
