Ireland - Launch of new employment wage subsidy scheme - August 31, 2020

The government is encouraging employers to register for the new Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme. The scheme replaces the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme from 1 September 2020. Since March over €2.7 billion of support has been given to over 69,500 employers through the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme (TWSS) covering over 600,000 workers.
