Iceland - Unemployment higher than after bank collapse in 2009 - November 30, 2020

The Directorate of Labour estimates that unemployment will be at 11.3% in December, compared to 9.3% when the bank collapse peaked in 2009. This was stated in a new monthly report from the Directorate of Labour and is a result of the job losses that have taken place due to the current pandemic.
