Finland - Unemployment forecast - November 30, 2020

According to the latest labour market forecast from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, the coronavirus pandemic will continue to affect jobs in 2022. The figures suggested the labour market had not suffered too badly during the pandemic overall. Officials said this was likely due to factors such as moderate restrictions to curb the spread of the virus and companies using temporary rather than permanent layoffs to weather the crisis.
