The socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis has especially been felt in the hospitality industry. Airlines, hotels, and restaurants have all experienced drops in their revenues. While some have been able to adapt by offering takeout food or special discount vouchers for future stays, others have had no choice but to lay off employees. The coronavirus crisis has significantly affected the labour market as a whole, with job offers handled by recruitment agencies cut by almost half.
