Portugal - Dock workers protest violation of collective bargaining agreement - October 31, 2019

The union of dock workers has given an ultimatum to the Setubal port authorities to review the recent hiring of an external worker, in violation of the collective labour contract signed with the dockers. The Turkey- based port operating group, Yilport Holding Inc., has admitted to hiring a worker who does not belong to the temporary workers’ dockers group that is engaged in the operations at Setubal.
