Lithuania -Agreement on teachers’ pay -February 14, 2014

Representatives of education trade unions and the government have signed an agreement over consulting and coordination of positions on topical issues related to education. As a result of the agreement salaries are expected to be lifted. Negotiations took a year and a half. The responsible minister expects that the agreement will also allow preserving 150 small schools.
