Austria -Minimum wage for doctors employees -October 06, 2014

Nov 6, 2014 - Over 6,000 doctors’ employees in Lower Austria have a new collective agreement. The agreement instates a monthly minimum wage of 1300, which unions have welcomed as a step to raising wage levels in the female dominated sector.

Over 6,000 doctors’ employees in Lower Austria have a new collective agreement. The agreement instates a monthly minimum wage of 1300, which unions have welcomed as a step to raising wage levels in the female dominated sector. Employees whose wages exceed the new minimum wage will also see a pay hike of 3.4%, half of which is paid in retroactively from 1 January 2014 and the other half from 1 January 2015.
