Croatia -Labour legislation under revision -June 17, 2013

With the argument that it was necessary to comply with the EU legislation and the protection of workers the government has planned several changes of the labour legislation. According to the opposition the draft proposals include several inconsistencies that favour the employers. The new legislation will facilitate the dismissal of employees during the probation period. Working hours and daily rest are eased.
