Slovak Republic -Industrial action suspended after improvement of safety -March 8, 2012

Air traffic controllers’ union, ATCA SR, and the Slovakian Ministry of Transport, Post and Telecommunications reached an agreement in the first week of March over improving safety in air services. The ministry guaranteed that it would meet all the union’s safety demands and implement these within the timeframe requested. This included an agreement that serious consequences would ensue if national and international inspections revealed inadequacies on the part of management.
