Minimum Wages meet cost of living in only a few countries worldwide - August 26, 2022

Aug 26, 2022 - Though Minimum Wages are the first step to workers having a decent lifestyle, they often fail to meet the cost of living. In some countries, though, the applicable Minimum Wage exceeds Living Wages, helping citizens lead lives of dignity.

A majority of countries where Minimum Wage exceeds Living Wage are in Western Europe. This also takes place in New Zealand and Australia, as well as Taiwan and South Korea in Asia. In North America, this is only prevalent in Canada.
