Interns who join the programme will work on WageIndicator databases and the 196 country websites. They will form part of a global team, and will acquire and develop skills including training in data journalism, data collection, and social media, and how to use various software tools. A core team of student managers, who report to the WageIndicator team, will have the opportunity to manage students within three key areas: Data Analysis, Labour Laws and Web Content and Social Media. All students will also participate in data collection for the WageIndicator Living Wages database.

All work will follow a strict monitoring and evaluation process, with weekly feedback by student and WageIndicator Foundation managers.
