- Day 1: Thursday, February 8

- 13:15 – 14:15 Introduction of the BARSERVICE project: research questions, aims, framework, methodology - Marta Kahancová, project coordinator
- 14:15 – 14:45 Coffee break
- 14:45 – 15:30 State of the art: the service sector across the studied countries
All participants (short country presentations about the key characteristics of the service sector, and up to 3 key observations relevant for the project aims and questions - 15:30 – 17:30 Work packages (overview of each WP, tasks and deliverables – by WP leaders)
- WP1 – Context and analytical framework in a comparative perspective (CELSI, Marta Kahancová)
- WP2 – Understanding the challenges in the service sector (CELSI, Marta Kahancová and UNI Europa, Stan De Spiegelaere)
- WP3 – Analysing and comparing CBAs in the service sector (WageIndicator – Fiona Dragstra and Gabriele Medas)
- WP4 – Tackling undeclared work in the service sector (CELSI, Marta Kahancová)
- WP5 – Building capacity for collective bargaining through co-creation, mutual exchange and learning (UNI Europa – Stan De Spiegelaere)
- WP6 – Dissemination of research findings, policy recommendations and overall results of the project (WageIndicator – Fiona Dragstra and Gabriele Medas)
- WP7 – Project management and quality assurance (CELSI – Marta Kahancová and external evaluator Valeria Pulignano on zoom tbc) - 17:30 – 18:00 Discussion on any outstanding issues on the project content
