Welcome to the GapCheck! This tool helps you compare your basic wage with the Living Wage estimate in your region. A Living Wage covers the basics: what an employee should always receive, no matter their performance or any extra pay.
In the Fast Track section, you can quickly compare your basic wage with the WageIndicator Living Wage for a Typical Family that applies to your region. If you want a more detailed comparison, including bonuses and benefits, you can use the section “Yourself (employee)”. The section “Report for more employees” allows you to calculate a detailed gap for a group of employees or for all employees in a company.
The GapCheck tool is available for all regions within a country where there is a WageIndicator Living Wage benchmark (175+ countries).
If in the region the Minimum Wage is higher than the Living Wage, the basic wage will be compared with the lowest applicable Minimum Wage.
