Note: Notification No. …………F.NO 16/1/MW/2008 dated 20th Oct 2010 To arrive at the monthly wages, the daily wages shall be multiplied by 26. The Minimum rates of wages are inclusive of the wages for the weekly day of rest. Where the same work or work of similar nature is performed by women, no distinction in the payment of wages shall be made between men & women workers. Wherever the existing wages are higher than the minimum wages fixed herein, the same shall be continued to be paid. The six schedules of employment as mentioned in this notifications are: 1. Shops, commercial establishments, residential hotels, lodging houses, restaurants, eating houses, theatres and places of public amusements or entertainments. |
