Average gross salaries and wages in January 2024 amounted to 132,372 RSD (€ 1,129), while average net salaries and wages were 95,836 RSD (€ 817). Compared with the same month last year, average gross salaries and wages for January 2024 increased by 15.9% in nominal terms and by 8.9% in real terms, while average net salaries and wages increased by 15.8% in nominal terms and by 8.8% in real terms. Relative to December 2023, average gross salaries and wages in January 2024 increased by 1.5% in nominal terms, and by 1.2% in real terms. Simultaneously, net salaries and wages increased by 0.8% in nominal terms and by 0.5% in real terms.
