Union FNV presented its annual evaluation of the 2023-2024 bargaining round. In the collective agreements concluded so far, wages for average incomes increase by 5.8%. For years this fluctuated around 2%. Employees with lower incomes improved slightly more. Workers with an income up to 110% of the minimum wage saw their wages increase by an average of 6.1%. Together with the last collective agreement season, these are the highest wage increases in decades. According to the union, the most important thing is that the price increases of recent years have been compensated. In 15% of the collective agreements, a clause on automatic indexation of price increases is included.
