After tough negotiations, union FNV and other unions reached an agreement with the employers’ organisation FME on the new collective agreement for the metal and electronics industry. The collective agreement has a term from 1 June 2024 to 31 December 2025. Wages will increase by 9% in total. On 1 June 2024, wages will increase by 2.75%, on 1 January 2025 by 3.25% and on 1 June 2025 by 3%. The opportunity for early retirement for employees with heavy work will be continued. The employer's contribution to the pension scheme will be temporarily continued until 2025.
