Netherlands - 10% higher pay at pharmaceutical company - May 31, 2024

After intensive negotiations, the union FNV reached a collective agreement with activated carbon producer Norit. The collective agreement runs from 1 March 2024 to 1 March 2026. There will be a structural pay increase of 10%. Wages will increase by 5% on 1 March 2024 and by another 5% on 1 March 2025. There will be no reduction of pay during illness, as the employer had proposed. There will also be an agreement on a generation pact to safeguard the interests of all age groups within the company.
