Full-time employees’ average gross earnings were HUF 621,200 (€ 1,594) and average net earnings with tax benefits reached HUF 427,700 (€ 1,098) in November 2023. Average gross earnings grew by 14.1%, net earnings increased by 14.0% and real earnings were 5.7% higher than a year earlier. Median gross earnings were HUF 489,400 (€ 1,256), median net earnings were HUF 338,500 (€ 869), surpassing the value for the same period of the previous year by 16.0% and 15.3%, respectively.
