Germany - New collective agreement for energy producer - May 31, 2024

In the third round of negotiations, the union IGBCE and electricity producers Steag and Iqony agreed on a collective agreement for the approximately 6,000 employees of the two energy companies. The remuneration will increase by 3% on 1 May 2024 and by a further 5.9% on 1 March 2025. IGBCE members will also have an additional day off. The 2 free shifts for IGBCE members will be permanently secured and increased by one free shift. The special benefit for IGBCE members (previously: € 550 per year) will also be increased by 3% and then by 5.9%, analogous to the remuneration.
