Germany - Agreement for telecom company - May 31, 2024

After five days of negotiations in the extended fourth round of bargaining for the German telecom company Deutsche Telekom, the trade union ver.di and the employers reached a collective agreement on 17 May 2024. Employees will receive a tax-free inflation compensation premium of € 1,550 in July 2024 (part-time employees pro rata). On 1 October 2024, wages will be increased by 6%, and on 1 August 2025, they will receive a further wage increase of € 190 per month. Trainees and dual students will receive a tax-free inflation compensation premium of € 775 in July 2024. On 1 October 2024, their salaries will be increased by € 95 per month, and on 1 August 2025, there will be an increase of 6%. The collective agreement has a term of 24 months and is valid until 31 March 2026.
